Improve waste management significantly.

Most people are familiar with basic waste management concepts such as how to separate recyclables from regular trash. Fewer of us, however, take the time to learn how our wasteful habits affect the environment. Governments and large corporations are responsible for some of the more serious waste management issues, but we can all take small steps to reduce waste, such as using reusable cups for tea and coffee and bringing our own reusable water bottle with us when we leave the house. Even if it doesn’t appear to be much, if everyone was more conscious of how much waste they produce, we might be able to start having a positive impact on the planet and its future.
